Clara Beth Thompson

Thompson, Clara Beth, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Clara was very active with her senior friends. All will miss her fabulous sense of humor and caring spirit. Visitation 1-8 p.m. (family present 6-8) Sunday at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday, at First Baptist Church of Mulvane, 1020 N. 2nd Ave. Preceded in death by husband Lynn Lloyd Thompson, son Ernest Ray Thompson, and grandsons Mark and Ryan Thompson. Survived by children C.J. (Steve) Saboe, Linda Overman, and Larry (Dian) Thompson, grandchildren Troy Hobelman, Travis Hobelman, Angela Lollar, Tamara Johnston-Araiza, Amy Ludwa, and Jinny Ludwa; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings Beulah Watkins, Inez Savage, Howard Hamilton, and Glen Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202, and First Baptist Church, 1020 N. 2nd Ave., Mulvane, KS 67110.
