Christopher Paul Mattox

Chris Mattox passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 14th 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Amy. He leaves behind a stepdaughter, and two grandchildren.

Chris was best known as a quiet, kind, and generous guy with a big beard and mischievous grin. He really loved his mom and dad. He admired great guitarists, was into muscle cars, D&D, video games, loved his cats, and adored his family. He never quite got over his surprise that he was beloved by his wife's family, or his delight in his grandchildren. He once told his daughter that his granddaughter and grandson were "the best surprise he'd ever had in his life."

Chris's ideal good time included great food and games. Therefore there is a small memorial planned for May 12th, 5pm. Headshots Bar & Grill. Wichita, KS. A remote option will be made available.
