Christopher Dwain Douglas

December 23, 1979 — July 7, 2022

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Douglas, Sr., 42, on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Chris was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 23, 1979.

Chris is survived by his wife, Robin Douglas, and four children: Christopher, Jr., Bradley, Jacob, and Harmony. He also leaves behind his mother Naomi McKinsey, father Robert McKinsey, mother Becky Douglas, father Kenneth Douglas, and nine siblings: Dalles, Phillip, Johnathan, Justin, Garret, Brandon, Karie, Robin, and Amanda, and a host of family and friends.

As a child Chris loved clowns, cowboys, and being a good student. For his second-grade classroom birthday party he was a clown and handed out balloons and candy for treats. He attended Wichita South High where he played football and highlighted his love for music with choir. He played the saxophone and found a long-time interest in guitar. He was a plumber by trade. He would always help family and friends when asked. He shared his love for his family through bike rides, fishing, cookouts, bowling, playing badminton, cards, dominos, and Yahtzee.

He will be remembered for his selfless giving to others. He will always be in our hearts and forever missed.
