Christina L. Stateler

Christina L. Stateler, of Haysville, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016. She was born November 28, 1952 in Wichita, KS to James M. Irwin and Norma (Powell) Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents; and stepfather, Marion. Christina is survived by her former husband, Steven Stateler; children, Rochelle Smith of Malden, MO, Shawn (Felicia Torres) Lynn of Wichita, Alexander (Daniel Wilson) Stateler of Wichita; grandchildren, Lexie Lynn, Cody Smith, Samantha Smith, and Ana Smith; sisters, Linda Eshleman of Lititz, PA, Kay (Ron) Berens of Belle Plaine, Jamie (Robert) Ortiz of Chanute; step brother, Jeff Hamilton; and stepmother, Thelma Irwin both of Wellsville. Visitation: Thursday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Funeral: 1 pm, Friday, May 6, 2016; both at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
