Greenstreet, Christina D., 45, went to be with her Lord on July 7, 2014. She was born with much joy on September 26, 1968 to Chuck and Vicki Welsh in Wichita, Kansas. Christi was a graduate of Southeast High School and a member of First Bible Baptist Church. She loved to sing and participated in numerous music activities at school and church. She was a choir member, taught children’s choirs, worked in the church nurseries, and ministered at Navajo Camps. Christi loved people and sacrificially gave her all faithfully to family and friends alike. She worked at Lubrication Engineers for 10 years and retired from there upon her diagnosis of ALS. She was a soccer mom ardently coaching, cheering and supporting her 6 children and husband in the sport they all loved. Christi was a beloved daughter, grand-daughter, niece, a loving wife, a fantastic mom and sister. Survivors include her husband, Kelly; children, Nathan, Samantha, Kelsey, Benjamin, Joseph and Tabitha; parents, Chuck and Vicki Welsh; brothers, Chris (Tracy), Bryan (Ashley Marie), Kyle, and Jacob (Ashley Kay); grandparents, Bill and Ruth Findley of Rogers, AR; aunts, Terri Casady and Debi Lee. She will be deeply missed, but always in our hearts. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 10, from 1-8 pm with the family greeting friends from 6-8pm at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Christi loved life and people. The Lord gave her those loves and you, therefore, are invited to join us in a celebration of her life and homegoing at MorningStar Community Church, 11010 E. Kellogg Drive, Wichita, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in Maize Park Cemetery, 12703 W. 53rd St. No., Maize. A memorial is established with ALS-Wichita Chapter, 3450 N. Rock Rd., Ste 211, Wichita, KS 67226.
