Cherrie K. Hunter

Hunter, Cherrie K., 67, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was born October 14, 1946 to John and Mary (Whitney) Marling in Wichita, KS. Cherrie enjoyed working in her garden and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Pat Sackett and Eddie Marling. Cherrie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Hugh Hunter; children, Shirley (Stan) Mamoth, Sheila (Gavin) Busey, Joe (Sherrie) Hunter, and Tammy Meneses; siblings, Nila Dement and Don Marling; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, 3 - 8 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Saturday, August 9, 2014; both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory In The Valley, 3755 E.
