Cherokee Scott

Cherokee Scott was born in Wichita, KS on May 22, 1975, the son of John and Geraldine Scott. Cherokee was 46 years old when he went to be in the arms of Jesus in Wichita, KS on August 29, 2021.

Cherokee was loved by everyone everywhere he went he never met a stranger. Everyone was his "good friend" - as he would say, "you're a good girl." or "you're a good boy."

In his younger years Cherokee liked to play sports. He played basketball and swam for Special Olympics. In his free time he liked to watch wrestling and had 100s of wrestling magazines. He loved pictures.

He was proud of Graduating from Campus High School and would tell everyone he was 18.

Cherokee went to youth group at Christian Chapel Foursquare Church and he loved Jesus. As an adult Cherokee attended Landmark Baptist Church in Tahlequah, OK.

Cherokee had fun teasing others and laughing with them. Cherokee liked to play bingo and go to the casino. He will always be remembered for his hugs, laugh and smile.

He is survived by his Momma Jerry Scott; 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Robert (Glenda) Forbes, Jacqueline (Billy) Smart, Regina Scott (Eric Winn), John Scott, Jr., Karen Brown, and Donita Scott. He was preceded by his Daddy John Scott Sr., and his brother-in-law Troy Brown.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00pm Friday, September 3, 2021, followed by a funeral service at 3:00, all at Christian Chapel Foursquare.
