Haysville- Duprez, Cherie
77, passed away Monday, August 19th, 2024. She was born January 13th, 1947 to Mac and Roxanna McWilliams in Cherokee, OK.
Cherie enjoyed life to the fullest, especially time spent with family and friends. She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life on June 4, 1967. They were happily married for 47 years before his untimely death in 2014. What she loved most in life was being mom to her two daughters and being Grandma Rie to her nine grand-children and 6 (and counting) great-grand-children. Cherie loved animals, especially her countless dogs throughout her life. Her most recent fur-babies were Coco and Rosco. She loved playing Bunco, crafting, and getting her nails done with her sister. She also loved game nights and celebrating birthdays and holidays with her family. Cherie worked for the Haysville Police Department for 35 years before retiring in 2012. Cherie has been a member of the First Baptist Church of Haysville since childhood.

Cherie is survived by her daughters, Tina Mann (Chris), Tara Nussbaum (Brent); 9 grandchildren, Braylan (Lindsey), Tanner (Casie), Jordan (Sam), Olivia (Cole), Jaden, Dodger, Jenna (Dallas), Ashley (Isaac), Josie; sisters, Leigh Ann Welch, Jan Flores (Tony)
Visitation: Sunday, August 25th, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, Haysville. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Monday, August 26th, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Haysville 125 S. Delos Haysville, KS 67060. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Kansas
