Charlotte Kliewer

Kliewer, Charlotte, 52, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015. She was born December 29, 1962 in Florence, SC to Steve and Mary (Greene) Rutledge. Charlotte was a former missionary to Brazil and a reading specialist at Central Christian Academy. Charlotte is survived by her parents; husband, Cameron Kliewer; children, Jonathan Dirks, David (Kaitlin) Dirks, and Andrew Dirks; brother, Tal (Tina) Rutledge; mother-in-law, Menda Kliewer; and father-in-law, Johnny Dirks. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Dirks; mother-in-law, Ruth Dirks; and father-in-law, George F. Kliewer. Visitation: Thursday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Funeral: 1 pm, Friday, August 14, 2015 at Heartland Community Church, 457 S. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS 67218. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Derby. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Luke 19:10 Ministries, 15 Birkhall Circle, Greenville, SC 29605 or the Central Christian Academy Explorer Program Scholarship, 2900 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226.
