MULVANE – Showalter, Charles “Chuck”, age 91, passed into Jesus’ arms Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Visitation 1-6 PM Sunday with family receiving friends 3-5 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral Service 10 AM Monday, December 23, Mulvane United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Dunlap Cemetery. Chuck was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; parents, William & Marguerette; and brothers, Norman and Bill. Survivors: son, Gary (Karen), Mulvane; daughters, Mary Beth (Tim) Moreno, Arnold, MO, and Kay (David) Nuckolls, Claremore, OK; sister, Ava Ossana, Pittsburg, KS; grandchildren, Brad and Aundrea; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Alex and Cole.
