The youngest of five children, Chuck grew up on a farm in Jamestown, Kansas. He attended country school and graduated from both Jamestown High School and Pratt Junior College. He enjoyed life and had a variety of hobbies including hunting, fishing, camping, reading, waterskiing, woodcarving, and his weekly breakfast with the “Old Guys.” Chuck loved and was loved by the Lord, his family and friends. His favorite verse was Luke 11:13 “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
