Charles R. Mountford

Charles R. Mountford, 73, Wichita, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home. Charles was born June 3, 1942, the son of Floyd W. and Ruth E. (Babcock) Mountford. He worked at Cessna where he retired. He was married to Treva A. (Gould) Mountford whom preceded him in death in 2006. Also preceding him in death was two brothers, Floyd W. Mountford, Jr and Jerald L. Mountford. Survivors include his children, Robert D. Mountford (Tracy), Troy D. Mountford, Tonya Hightower (Isaac) all of Wichita and Mindy Mountford of K.C., MO, brother, Gene A. Mountford of Wichita, sisters, Carol A. Corle (Ken) Coffeyville, KS, Jane Ruyle, Catoosa, OK, 3 grandsons and 1 great grandson. Visitation will be from 1-5 Sunday with family receiving friends 2-3:30 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday at the Mortuary. Family suggest contributions to Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 769 N. Colorado Street, Wichita, KS 67212.
