Charles M. Marx, age 78, retired security guard, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021. Visitation 1-8 pm

Tuesday, September 14, with family greeting friends 5-7 pm, Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd Ave., Belle Plaine. Graveside service 10 am Wednesday, September 15, Belle Plaine Cemetery, Charles enjoyed spending time fishing with his family and putting together all types of model cars. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alice Marx; and his sister, Josephine Queen. Survivors include his brother-in-law, Marvin Queen and many nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with the Wellington Humane Society, PO Box 494, Wellington, KS 67152.
