Charles H. Lewis, Jr., age 79, of Derby, retired Edward Jones Financial Advisor, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014. No visitation. Memorial service 1 PM Thursday, December 11th, St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark, Derby. “Chuck” is preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Mary Lewis; a sister, Marilyn Rapp; and a great-grandson, Jonas. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Jan; sons, Kevin (Rachel) and Clint, all of Derby; daughter, Cheryl Scheer (Greg), of Rose Hill; sisters, Sandra Ferrel, of Warsaw, MO, and Judy Richardson, of Mound City; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758541, Topeka, KS 66675-8541 and The McCormick Lewis Scholarship Trust, with checks made payable to Edward Jones and the McCormick Lewis Scholarship Trust noted in the memo section, and mailed to Edward Jones, 200 E.
