Charles Leeroy Wilson

March 6, 1941 — October 29, 2021

On October 29, 2021 Charles LeeRoy Wilson, known to his family and friends as LeeRoy, went to be with the Lord.

LeeRoy was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to wife Mary for what would have been 55 years come January - they have known each other since they were just 10 years old. His love for her, his son, and granddaughters was immeasurable. He was a man of great faith and integrity. He served his country in both the Air Force and Army for 27 years. He was very proud to be a Veteran.


Preceded in death by parents Ervin M. and Mayme Wilson; Sister Karleen V. Kelly and husband Arthur; brothers Laverne Wilson, James L Wilson, and Anthony Gale Wilson.

LeeRoy is survived by spouse Mary A. Wilson, son Scott and two granddaughters Sabrina, and Sydney; brothers Leonard Wilson, Jerry Wilson, and sisters Sheryle Ann Smith, Eva Leah Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, November 3, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am, at Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Military honors will be held in the Mulvane Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Interim Hospice, 105 S Washington Ave, Wellington, KS 67152.
