Charles K. Nelson

Nelson, Charles K. “Chuck” III, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Funeral service 2 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby, reception following. Chuck was a Captain, United States Air Force, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and a retiree of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems. He is survived by his sons, C. Bruce Nelson, Wichita, and Darren K. Nelson, Derby; and a sister, Linda (Patrick) Mallette, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.
