Charles R. June, age 83, of Derby, retired mail carrier, US Post Office, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday, January 28, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Friday, January 29, Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn, Derby. Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline, and his parents, Everett & Geneva June. Survivors include his sons, Larry (Kathy), Derby, and Ronald, Wichita; daughters, Linda Phillips (Ken), Aransas Pass, TX, and Rhonda Simmons (Brian), Rose Hill; brother, Bill (Lee), Augusta; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn Ave., Derby, KS 67037. Send condolences to smithfamilymortuaries.com.
