Chuck Harland

Charles "Chuck" Harland, 67, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was born October 6, 1950 in Clarinda, IA. Chuck owned several businesses that specialized in smoked meats, tire repair, and small engine repair. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, helping with the Boy Scouts, and collecting items to fix. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin (Bernice) Hall. Chuck is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marcia; children, John (Andrea) Whitaker of Emporia, KS, Shanley (Teresa) Loffer of Lindsborg, KS, Ethan (Lucy) Harland of Wichita, KS, and Seth (Misty) Harland of Wichita, KS; and grandchildren, Alyxandrea, Jessie, Jayden, Zachary, Garrett, Julie, Taylor, and Jackson. Funeral: 1 pm, Thursday, October 4, 2018 with visitation 1 hour prior at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 W. 2nd, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. Interment to follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery.
