Charles Anthony Harjo

Harjo, Charles A., 64, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013. He is preceded in death by his son Derick Edmond Harjo, mother Mary Jayne Harjo, and father Henry Harjo, Sr. Survived by wife Valarie Schneider; children Adrienne Rebecca (Chris) Nester of Coppell, Tex., Charles Jarrod (Sara) Harjo or Wichita, Robert Michael Harjo of Wichita; brothers Henry (Rachelle) Harjo of Edmond, Okla., Sean Phinney or Wichita; grandchildren Andrew Nester, Charles Austin Harjo, William Grant Nester, Kota James Harjo; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 1-8 Monday; funeral service 10 am Tuesday, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. A memorial has been established with the Wichita Intertribal Warriors Society, 850 N. Wood Ave., Wichita, KS 67212.
