Charles H Billingsley

Charles H. Billingsley, age 88, of Derby, retired Music Educator, Insurance Agent and USMC veteran, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. Visitation 1-8 pm Wednesday, December 7, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 10 am Thursday, December 8, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Charles was born October 15, 1928 in Oklahoma City and was adopted 5 months later on March 25, 1929 by Walter and Alice Billingsley. They preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jane; sons, James (Lupe), of Grapevine, TX, and John (Sherrie), of Derby; daughters, Janet Billingsley, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Joan Blencoe (Greg), of Derby; grandchildren, Carlos, Melinda and Jacob Billingsley; Bretley Laramore (Grant), Paige Huitt (Parker), William and Tyler Travis (Ana), and Dustin Blencoe; great-grandchildren, Grace Billingsley, Benjamin Laramore and Parker Huitt II.
