Ceilee Rivera

Ceilee Dawn Prestien-Rivera was born July 29, 1982, to Scott and Teresa Prestien in Medicine Lodge, Kansas.

On Saturday, July 15, 2023, Ceilee Dawn Rivera, loving wife and mother was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 40.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church, 6161 S Meridian Ave, Wichita. Burial will follow at Waco Cemetery.

Ceilee married Samuel Rivera August 2, 2013.

Ceilee found pride and purpose in being a loving mother and wife. She was caring and affectionate, and loved her family with all of her heart. She felt like her calling in life was to be a mom, and she counted her children as her biggest blessing. Ceilee loved being a wife. She and Sam shared a close, loving relationship.

Ceilee loved fast cars, animals, and spending time with her family.

The summer of '90 or '91 Ceilee accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior. She was baptized at Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church in 1995.

She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Prestien; daughter, Josie Rivera; maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Moses; and paternal grandparents, James and Donna Prestien.

Ceilee is survived by her husband Samuel Rivera; children, Luke, Ava, and Sammy; her mother, Teresa Wilcox; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials have been established with Bridgeport Missionary Baptist Church, 6161 S Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS 67217.
