Cecina Leann Staley

February 10, 1966 — March 19, 2021

Wichita, KS - Cecina LeAnn Staley, 55, died Friday, March 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1966 to LeRoy Staley and Retha Archibald (Petruzates-Spencer) in Wichita, Kansas.

Cina attended Clearwater Kansas schools, elementary, junior high and high school. She was a kind and generous spirited woman whose love of the outdoors and wild creatures led to her being featured on a Kansas TV program Hatteberg’s people. Her gardens were extraordinary and the rabbits, raccoons, and cardinals flocked to her door.

She was preceded in death by her favorite pet, Blackjack, who was a central part of her life. Cecina is survived by her mother and father, her brother, Alan Staley, two children, Brent Graves and Zayne Womack as well as her granddaughter, Violet. Other survivors are her Uncle Rick and Aunt Suzanne Archibald, Aunt Wyona Doty, cousins Shannon, Megan, Heather and Tim, nieces and nephews Hana and Aidan, and cousins Dorene Cochran, Kris and Terry Keller, as well as her “sister” Carol Schroeder

A private memorial service will be held online for family members and friends in early April.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
