C.D. Swaim

Connan D. “C.D.” Swaim, age 79, retired NC programmer for Boeing, passed away May 27, 2013. Visitation 1-8pm Thursday, May 30th; funeral service 10am Friday, May 31st, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. C.D. was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucille Swaim; children, Cynthia and Steven Swaim; grandson, Brian Maphet; siblings, Jean Holman, Ruby Guthrie and Preston Swaim. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Swaim; children, Buck (Heather) Swaim, Jeffery Swaim; step-children, Robert (Shelly) Maphet, Gregory (Amy) Maphet and Tami Maphet; grandchildren, Justin, Sarah, Brandon, Kelsey, Nicole, Chance, Nick, Taylor, Templ, Courtney and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Audrey and Zoey; siblings, Lola Vestal, Lois (Dale) Agee, Nita (Nathan) Shipman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
