Cassie Leann Clark-Thomas

Cassandra Leann Clark-Thomas, affectionately known as Cassie by friends and family, joined her Lord and Savior on January 09, 2026. She was born June 30, 1981, and raised in Derby, KS. She spent her life devoted to her family, friends, and faith.

Cassie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Darlene Clark, and Dortha and Eldon Johnson, as well as her mother and father-in-law Julie and Ernie Thomas. She was a devoted wife to Seth Thomas. She was a loving mother to son Taylor and daughter Emma. She was the oldest daughter of Roger and Janet Clark. Cassie was a supportive sister to Amber Hackerott, Jessica (Todd) Rice, Robert (Amy) Clark, and Adam (Hannah) Clark; and sister-in-law to Phil (Katy) Thomas and Daniel (Amanda) Thomas. She was a caring aunt to 17 nieces and nephews.

Cassie was a beloved employee at Spirit and The Boeing Company as the Global Supply Chain Twin Aisle focal for the Mfg Operations Support Team. She was a proud published author. She was passionate about adventures. Whether that be watching her daughter at school events, attending a church group, going to the store, or going on a ghost hunt, Cassie made everything a fun-filled event. Her zest for life was as contagious as her laugh. Cassie left an impression on everyone she met and will forever be greatly missed.

Public Viewing will be held on Friday, January 16th from 5:00-7:00 at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, KS 67037 and Funeral Service on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00 PM at River Community Church 2130 N. Oliver Wichita, KS 67208. Burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emma’s scholarship fund, established in honor of her mother, Cassie.
