Cary Wayne Shearmire, 60, passed Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home in Haysville. He was born September 2, 1962, in Scott City, KS.
In honor of his love for sarcastic tee shirts and camouflage, friends and family are encouraged to wear them.
Visitation: Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd Derby.
He worked in construction and at Spirit Aerospace.
He was preceded in death by his father, Winnie Shearmire and grandparents, Claud and Ellen Scott, and Bud and Velda Shearmire.
Cary is survived by his mother, Nancy Scott and sister, Tammy Russell, both of Haysville; brother, Tim Shearmire of Wichita; son, Zachary Shearmire; daughter, Paige Froh; and nieces, Tifanie Cotton and Nicole Russell.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established with Beauties and Beasts 11th Hour Rescue or Habitat for Humanity.
