Carroll D. Wood

Carroll Dwane Wood, 85, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born April 29, 1939, to Dwane and Josephine Wood in Wellington, Kansas.

Preceded in death by his mother, Josephine; his father, Dwane; his brother, Glen; his sister, Karen; his son, Dwane; and his daughter, Vanessa.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Inge Wood; his sisters, Barbara, Pamela (Doug); and brother, Leroy (Ophelia); his daughter, Tammy (Mike); and son, John; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 1/2 years and served 2 separate terms in the Vietnam war. He was a member of the VFW Post #7253 and a member of the Patriot Guard.

Some of his hobbies were traveling, fishing, camping, and riding his motorcycle.
