Wichita - Roberts, Carral N.
84, passed away Saturday, May 8th, 2021. He was born May 10th, 1936 in Brinkman, OK, the son of Lloyd and Delphia Roberts. He has one brother, Mike and one sister, Sandra Long. He has a daughter, Brenda Roberts by a previous marriage and two grandchildren, Cody and Dakota Lollis. He went to school in California and Kansas, joined the U.S. Air Force in Wichita in Nov. 1953. He served in Japan approximately four years and over two years at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina, and was separated from service in May, 1960. After leaving the service he continued to work in aircraft in Quality Assurance until 2003 when he retired from Cessna with the exception of 1976 to 1989 he worked as a locksmith and gunsmith. He married Doris Blurton on October 10, 1975. He was made a Master Mason in August 1987 at North Star Lodge #168 A.F. & A.M., Wichita. Was Master in 1993, also joined Wichita Scottish Rite and Wichita Shrine, October 1987, was District Deputy Grand Master, District 26 in 1994. He became a York Rite Mason in 1990 in Wichita, was Commander of Mt. Olivet Commandery #12 in 1996, High Priest of Wichita Chapter #33 in 1997, and Illustrious Master of Wichita Council #12 in 1997. Sovereign Master of Allied Masonic Degrees Council #299, Great Chief of Knights Masons, Wichita Council #53. He belongs to: Past Commanders Association, Order of the High Priesthood, Thrice Illustrious Master order of Silver Trowel, KYCH, Calvery Conclave, Order of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Kansas York Rite College #125. He was appointed as Grand Royal Arch Captain by C. David Williams III for 2007 - 2008. He was appointed to the Grand Council of Kansas line by Eugene Curl and installed as Most Illustrious Grand Master of Kansas on March 24, 2007 for 2007 - 2008. Visitation: Saturday, May 15th, 2021, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 South Seneca, Wichita, 67213, with funeral service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Belle Plaine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Interfaith Ministry or to Wichita Children's Home.
