Carolyn Mae Bell

Bell, Carolyn Mae "Ma Bell," 82, went home to her Lord Sunday, September, 28, 2014. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday (family present 6 to 8 p.m.), at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner St., Derby. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery, Derby. Carolyn was well-known for her hugs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Olive (Utt) Myers; brother, Roy Myers; sister, Betty Palmer; and great-granddaughter, Cherie. Survived by children, Patricia (Warren) Johnston of Mulvane, Barbara (Jeff) Daume of Independence, MO, Richard (Cheryl) Bell of Spokane, WA, Michael (Cindy) Bell of Derby; sister, Lavada Quiggins; stepsister, Carolyn (Bob) Bonat; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby, KS 67037.
