Date of death 12-30-2024, Born 3-19-43 Wichita Falls, Texas at Shepard Army Air Field hospital. Carl was a Retired Pharmacist, Chemist from Udall, KS. He was predeceased by Father: Carlton W. Wolf, Sr. and Mother: Agnes (Janet) Hammers Wolf and Sister: Donna G. Wolf of Derby, KS.


Carl was raised in Derby, KS and graduated from Derby High School in 1961. Then he attended Kansas State, Hutch JUCO, Guam University, and Southwestern Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1981 with dual degrees in Pharmacology and Chemistry and a minor in Geochemistry. He worked for Osteopathic Hospital and then had his own Wolf Pharmacy for 10 years. He worked for many different drugstore chains but enjoyed working for the small businesses the best. He was respected by his friends, pharmacists, and owners.


Carl served in the Military as a US Navy Petty Officer Third Class aboard the aircraft carrier CVA-63, USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War the same time his brother Ron was in country. He worked for Boeing Aircraft as an inspector on military aircraft on B-52's, KC-135's and parts in Wichita and on the Island of Guam.


A friend, who was an attorney, once said of Carl; he is painfully truthful. He made friends easily from all over the US and other countries and he kept in touch with all of them throughout his life.


Carl worked for his father's business CW Wolf Motor Company and was a very good mechanic. He was also a farm hand for some farmers around Derby. After years in college he went to work for Cessna C-336 line. After military service, he went to work for Boeing's Military Division as Quality Control Inspector on the B-52's on Guam. While in Guam, he learned to scuba dive and attended the university. He said it kept him out of the bars. He Transferred back in Wichita working on KC-135 re-wing projects. He said that the riveter's concerto (noise) was getting to him so he went back to college. He did work for Dow Chemical in Texas for a while. He was a private pilot and flew in the Midwest. Later he did receive Aircraft, Airfame and Power Plant licenses from the FAA.


Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting. He loved shooting sporting clays with Dave Slemp and his brother Ron.


Carl is survived by brothers: Ron Wolf of Haysville KS, Leighton Wolf of Tucson AZ, Sisters: Brenda ( Charles) Rolison of Long Beach, MS and Karen Farmer of Bel Aire, Kansas, Nephews: Alexander Wolf, Ben Farmer and Taylor Farmer, Niece: Sofia Wolf.


Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025, 10:00 am at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd Derby, KS 67037
