Carlos "Charlie Brown" Mercado-Martinez, age 63, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Visitation: Monday, January 28, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mortuary, Mulvane.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Council Hill Christian Church, 1268 North Seneca Road Peck, Kansas 67120.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jorge and Christina (Mercardo) Martinez, and nephew Robert Boffil.

Carlos is survived by his siblings: Jorge Martinez (Luz), Alma Martinez, Henry Gelpi (Gloria), Janet Sims (Frederick); nieces and nephews, Christina Boffil (Pito), Alma Reyes (Jose), Andres Boffil (Susie), Lourdes Bambilla; many great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Les and Carolyn Sims, Eric and Paula Sims.
