58, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024. He was born March 20, 1966 to Jose Maldonado and Carolina Ramirez in San Antonio, Texas where he was raised and graduated from Fox Tech. Carlos lived there until he married Graciela Gonzalez and moved to La Joya , Texas.

Carlos was a great friend and a happy go lucky guy who loved the San Francisco 49’ers as much as he loved his family. Especially his son Luis and daughter Melanie with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Maldonado; brother, Angel Maldonado; and step-father, Jose Rocco.

Carlos is survived by his son, Luis Maldonado and his girlfriend from Houston,Texas; his daughter, Melanie Maldonado from La Joya; mother, Carolina Rocco; 4 brothers Eliseo & Guadalupe Maldonado, Joey & Ashley Maldonado, Jose & Lisa Rocco Ill, Jacob Rocco; and 3 sisters, Janie & Rudy Vinton, Margie Maldonado & Gilbert Martinez, Fina & Josiah Diaz.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 North Rock Road Derby, Kansas 67037.
