Carlene L. Burge

Carlene Lillian (Dean) Burge, Age 69, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 in her home while at rest.

Carlene was born on August 25, 1955 in Cheverly, Maryland the daughter of Andrew A. Dean Jr. and Darlene (Johnson) Dean.

Carlene married Gregory E. Burge on April 13, 1974 and in their 49 happy years together, they went on to have two daughters, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Carlene was a member of Church of the Resurrection in Wichita, Kansas and Espiritu Santo in Safety Harbor, Florida. She was active in The Daughters of Isabella and enjoyed serving others and her community.

Remaining to cherish Carlene’s memory are her daughters, Sherry Sandberg and Jennifer Peterson (Greg); grandchildren, Melana Teube (Darick), Emma Peterson, Victoria Peterson, and Dylan Wittorff; great-grandchildren, Liam Teube, Raelynn Teube, Skylar Teube, Ainsley Peterson, and Lincoln Peterson; sister, Maudell Belk, and brothers, Andrew Dean III and David Dean.

Graveside committal services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at El Paso Cemetery in Derby.
