Mulvane - Clark, Carla Jo

68, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024. She was born September 25, 1955, adopted at birth by William Bonde and Betty (Brothers) Bonde in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Carla was an active member of her church, where she shared her love with her friends and family through her creativity. She enjoyed making custom quilts for family members, elaborate cakes, Christmas cookie trays, costumes for children and grandchildren, cross-stitching, and more. Carla spent much of her life growing up in Independence, KS, and graduated from Emporia State University with a teaching degree. She was a beloved teacher and caregiver to her three children. Additionally, she was an active fundraiser volunteer for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bonde and Betty (Brothers) Bonde; mother-in-law, Claraellen (Heckman) Clark; and her son, Matthew Edward Clark.

Carla is survived by her husband, Mark Clark; father-in-law, Michael H. Clark; son, Michael (Tiffany) Clark; daughters, Michele (Andy) Wolfe, Megan Unruh; grandchildren, Mikaela, Miranda, Oliver, Elliott, Madison, Olivia; great-granddaughter, Wren.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at First Baptist Church Mulvane, 1020 N 2nd Ave, Mulvane, Kansas 67110. Interment to follow at Mulvane Cemetery.
