Carl Rudolf Deepe, age 90, of Douglass, farmer, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012. Visitation 1-8 PM Tuesday, Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass. Funeral service 10 AM Wednesday, December 12, 2012, Trinity Lutheran Church, 910 Mound, Winfield. Interment will follow at Douglass Cemetery. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Laura Deepe; infant daughter, Lois; and a sister, Darlene Byers. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Julia; sons, Paul, of Winfield, Duane, of Parshall, CO, Albert (Kathy), of Hayden, CO, Daniel (Sara), of Douglass; daughter, Carolyn (Mike) Seeliger, of Winfield; sister, Verona Coates, of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Kelly Abbott, Laura Hester, Nathan, Andrea, Noah and Joshua Deepe, Ruth and Brian Seeliger; great-grandchildren, Travis and Blake Abbott, Aida and Blaire Hester and Owen Deepe.
