Carl Rowland Chapman

Carl Rowland Chapman, 55, died Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Our beloved Carl lived a good life! He was a playful and determined soul.

Carl excelled in kindness as well as excellence in physical accomplishment at Special Olympics. His laughter and fun with others will be fondly remembered as will his decency in always expressing his appreciation to those in his life.

He was funny, and loved to banter with those he cared about. He had a wonderful sense of humor.

Carl's diligence enabled him to work at his long term job, which he loved, until nearly the end.

He loved both his biological family and his longtime KETCH family.

Funeral Service: noon, Monday, September 18th, 2023, at Smith Mortuary, Derby. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery, Derby.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Betty and George Chapman.

Carl is survived by his sisters, Elaine Bubolz and Barbara Snider; brother, Bruce Chapman; and numerous extended family members, as well as caregivers and friends.
