Carissa M. Nelson Phipps

Mulvane - Phipps, Carissa Marie 43, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. She was born March 11, 1978 to Marie Nelson in Wichita, Kansas. Carissa was a graduate of Mulvane High School, class of 1996, and an employee of Faneuil. She loved spending time with her family, singing and dancing to music, and watching her favorite TV shows, especially on the Food Network. She was preceded in death by her son, Max Phipps; grandmother, Colleen Nelson; aunt, Laura Fisher. Carissa is survived by her son, Jaxson Nelson; parents, Lary and Marie Nelson; siblings Brianna (Brett) Rhodes, Dana (Frank Stetler) Nelson, Ali (Jason) Stetler; grandparents, Marven and Wanda Law, Melvin Nelson; niece, Makenzie Rhodes; uncle Dennis Law; cousin Sara Butts; and many relatives and friends.
