Buddy Eugene Gilbert

Buddy Eugene Gilbert, age 43, construction worker and artist, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Rosary 7 PM Sunday, June 26, 2011, Funeral Service 1 PM Monday, June 27, 2011, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Buddy is preceded in death by his brother, Anthony J. Gilbert; his grandparents, Eileen & F.O. “Buss” Gilbert, and Harold Robinson; and Buddy’s great-grandmother, Flo Jones. Survivors include: his daughter, Crystal (Jason) Kurtz, Derby; parents, Connie & Don Gilbert, Derby; grandmother, Betty Robinson, Tonkawa, OK; his grandsons, Maliki and Eli; and his longtime companion, Trisha Miller, her family and grandchildren, Dakota and Kylie.
