Buddy Emil Dick

Buddy Emil Dick, age 87, of Marion, formerly of Belle Plaine, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service 10:30 AM Friday, March 30, 2012, First Baptist Church, Belle Plaine. Interment will follow the service at Belle Plaine Cemetery. He was born September 14, 1924 at Cuyler, Texas. He married Virginia Faye Burner, February 14, 1946 in Belle Plaine. Buddy is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents, Emil & Phoebe Dick; brother, Daryl; and sisters, Wanda Dill and Marvel Sheets. Survivors: son, Terry (Linda), Belle Plaine; daughter, Dana (Steve) Wear, Marion; brother, Jack, Wellington; 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
