Bruce Edward Cloyd

Bruce Edward Cloyd, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on June 12, 2026. He was born on October 1, 1938, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He served in the USAF for 22 years. While stationed in England he met and married his wife of 66 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at both Cessna and Boeing. He was a long-time member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, the German American Association and the Haysville City council. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice Priest and father Henry Cloyd, brother Joseph S. Cloyd, sister Mary Cloyd Carlson, daughter Tina Hartman, his great granddaughter, Harper Nicole Winslow.

He is survived by his wife Christa I. E. Cloyd, his son Thomas Cloyd (Angela), his daughter, Heidi (Cloyd) Winslow (Norman), grandchildren, Henry, Andrew, and Gavin Cloyd, Kasey and Jason (Jessica) Hartman, and Kent (Jessica) and Kyle Winslow. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Morio and Ellowin Hartman and Eleanor, Harvey and Adeline Winslow. Sister, Margret Luthringer and Brother, Danny Cloyd. There are also many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services held at this time.
