Bruce Jay Butterfield

DERBY - Butterfield, Bruce Jay, age 59, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, October 6, 2012. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, October 9, with family receiving friends 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby; funeral service 10am Wednesday, October 10, at First Christian Church Powerhouse, 302 N. Georgie, Derby. Bruce was born March 29, 1953 to Mandell Jay and Betty Zoe Butterfield in Wichita. He was employed at Aeroflex, Wichita since 1999. Bruce was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dianne Butterfield; sons, Benjamin (Katrina), James and Jonathan; 5 grandchildren; mother, Betty Zoe Butterfield-Fultz; sister, Deann Butterfield.
