Marvel Marion Pfingsten, 71, passed away December 28, 2016, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Memorial service 2 p.m., Saturday, January 21, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Marvel was a veteran of the US Air Guard and retired Deputy Commander of DCAS. Survived by wife, Dianne Pfingsten; children Shane (Dana) Pfingsten, Jamie (Danon) Vaughn, and Dallas Patterson; 5 grandchildren; brothers Eddie (Mary) Pfingsten and Doug (Michelle) Pfingsten. A memorial has been established with American Heart Association,1861 N. Rock Rd #380, Wichita, KS 67206.
