Braxton Wells Kooser

DERBY - Kooser, Braxton, age 14, Derby High School student, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, January 29th, with family present 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 10am Wednesday, January 30th, at the First Christian Church-Powerhouse, 302 N. Georgie, Derby. Braxton played football for the Derby Panthers and baseball for the Derby Tigers. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and great-grandfathers, Wes Gum, Otis Kooser, Ed Smith and Shannon Coogan. He is survived by his parents, Rob and Alana Kooser; siblings, Brody and Brecken Kooser; great-grandparents, Ida Gum, Evelyn Kooser and Justine Smith; grandparents, Dennis and Glenda Wells, David and Melanie Kooser and Karen Coogan; aunts and uncles, Kelly (Corty) Temple and Ken (Shonda) Kooser; cousins, Erin, Allison, Rebecca, Kendle, Raygen and Reece.
