Bonnie J. Monroe

Monroe, Bonnie J., 95, retired secretary and bookkeeper, previously of Derby, passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2024 in Elk Falls, KS. She was born August 12th, 1928 to Victor and Mabel Fincham in Frankfort, Kansas.

Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Francis and brother, Vic Fincham. Survivors include her daughter, Vicky (Dennis) Thompson of Elk Falls; niece, Patricia Goehring of Wamego, KS; granddaughter, Tara (Cory) Thompson-Edmonds of Caney KS; grandson, Matthew (Kelsey) Thompson of Bothell, WA and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family is 9:00 to 10:00 am Wednesday, August 14, 2024, followed by a 10:00 am funeral service at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 S. Woodlawn Blvd., Derby, Kansas 67037. Interment to follow at El Paso Cemetery.
