Bobby Dean Potts

January 11, 2025, Our Heavenly Father, called home Bob Potts to be with him after complications from stage II lung cancer. Born May 16, 1948 in LaVerne, Oklahoma, he moved to Kansas at two years old.

A retired mechanic, Bob loved to bowl, fish and disc golf. Although his real passion were birds. Mostly pigeons, but he loved anything that had feathers.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Hazel Morian and Delbert Potts. Two brothers, Jr. Potts and Loren Morain; and four sisters, Linda Harper, Judy Potts, Diana Gentry and Charlotte Casey.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons, BoDean, Lucas (Melissa) and David (Toshia) Potts, all of Wichita; two daughters, Deann and Sonja, of Kansas; five grandchildren, Tyson Potts and Lucas Potts Jr of Wichita, Aubrey Potts of Manhattan, KS, Kayte Potts of Georgia, and Emilee of Augusta, KS; one great-granddaughter, Callie Canady of Georgia; four brothers and four sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Visitation/Viewing will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 9:00 am with funeral service to follow at 10:00 am both at Encounter Church 928 W. 31st St. S. Wichita, KS 67217
