Bob Hamilton

Bob Hamilton was born January 25, 1930 in Lula, Oklahoma, the son of Virgil B.and Ova (Davis) Hamilton. He passed from this life on May 25, 2021, in Mulvane, Kansas.

Bob retired from Cessna 25 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, watching sports, especially the Celtics and Cowboys. As a mechanic, he enjoyed tinkering on his equipment at home, as well.

He is survived by Nadine, his wife of 62 years. He is the father of Shelly Barnes (Jeff), Greg Hamilton (Rebecca), Mark Hamilton, Neal Hamilton (Leslie); grandfather to Lacey Ross, Dakota and Aspen Hamilton; great grandfather of Jolie Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by brothers Gene Porter Hamilton and Davis Lee Hamilton.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 1, at Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Graveside services with military honors will be 10:00 Wednesday, June 2, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield.
