Bobby Ray Belcher

Belcher, Bob, 54, entered Heaven’s gate Sunday, February 6, 2011. Visitation 1-8 Thursday, funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. He was co-owner of Beeline Auto Salvage, where he was a “hard-assed softy” of a boss. Bob was a natural mechanic from a young age, and an avid auto racer. He was preceded in death by his brother Randy Jay Belcher. Survived by his best friend and companion, Sheila (Lutkie) Belcher; sons Dustin Ray (Jessica Cornelius) Belcher and Dylan Robert Belcher, all of Wichita; parents Bobbie and JoAnn Belcher, Mulvane; siblings Nick Belcher, Benton; Karen Randa, Clearwater; Brenda Bonham, Wichita; and “brother from another mother,” Tom Debbrecht; and grandson Dustin Ray Belcher, Jr. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
