Bob D. Allen

Bob D. Allen, 81, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Golden Living in Down Hills after a lengthy illness. He was born in Altus, OK on August 10, 1936 to Dave and Gladys Allen. He attended schools in Altus and Canute, OK. Bob married Janice Corn on March 24, 1962. Bob was retired from the Highway Department in Pinedale, WY. He liked to hunt and fish. Bob is survived by his wife, Janice of the home in Cawker City, KS; daughter, Angela (Glenn) Elliott of Cheyenne, WY; son, David Allen of Houston, TX; granddaughters, Brianna (Cory) Bahl, of Clinton, TN and Sydney Burney of Cheyenne, WY; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Becca, and Cole Bahl; and Maddie and Olivia Burney. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Pat Vaughn. Visitation: Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 12 pm to 2 pm at Smith Mortuary – Mulvane, 501 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110. Graveside Service: 2 pm, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Mulvane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67214.
