Billy Harp, 60, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026. He was born October 2, 1965 to Johnny and Cynthia Harp in Arkansas City, KS.
Billy was such a proud man with many talents and interests. He loved his family and friends!
He loved to go fishing any chance he got but especially loved bass fishing. He participated in bass tournaments but cherished fishing most with his family. He enjoyed hunting and just being outdoors in nature. He used to be in billiards tournaments and hardly ever turned down a casual game with anyone, as well as being a good teacher of it. He loved hanging out with family and friends to have a good time and kicking back with a few beers. He also would sit back and read a book to just relax.
He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan and also enjoyed watching golf.
He was respected in his profession of fixing game machines and enjoyed figuring out what was wrong with them and then fixing it. The harder it was the more satisfying it was for him to figure out how to fix it at the most reasonable cost.
He loved to stay busy and work with his hands, he was a workaholic. He was called MacGyver for all the things he did for his work but also around the house when fixing things. He was good with fixing almost anything but especially vehicles, electrical, and building things.
He was so caring and would help anyone in anyway he possibly could. He loved playing with our dogs and dominos with his dad! He always got excited when his wife and him would go on vacation if it was fishing, site seeing, or even to a monster truck show. He just wanted to make her happy.
He was taken away from us way too soon and will be deeply missed. He was an excellent husband, father, brother, son, and friend!Preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Foltz and stepmother, Vicki Harp.
Survivors include his wife, Stacey; father Johnny Harp; children, Billy (Rachel) Harp, Adam Harp; siblings, Dona (David) Flynt, Brian (Jacque) Harp, Jason (Jennifer) Harp; 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
