Billy Lee Evans, 72, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Bill was a car enthusiast that loved drag races and car shows. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons Bryan Evans and Robbie Evans; grandchildren Kayla Evans and Kelsea Steinbacher; great-grandchildren Steffen Evans and Madison Steinbacher; and brother, Larry Evans. The family requests no flowers, please, but a memorial has been established with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
