Bill Prichard

Billy G. Prichard, 81, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Derby, Kansas, surrounded by his family. Billy was born on November 21, 1944, in Batesville, Arkansas, the son of Leamon and Mary (Gibson) Prichard.

Billy and Diane were united in marriage on December 31, 1980, in Miami, Oklahoma. Together, they celebrated 45 years of marriage before his passing.

Billy retired from Cessna Aircraft in 2006 after many years of service as an inspector. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to the casino, but most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Sheila and Cindy; and his brother, Scotty.

Survivors include his loving wife, Diane; his sons, Darren Prichard, Derrick (Jena) Prichard, and Joshua (Janiel) Prichard; stepchildren, Shawn (Melanie) Sinclair and Elizabeth (Jason) Cain; siblings, Dallas (Janie) Prichard, Vickie (Ron) Callison, Ronnie (Lydia) Prichard, Ricky Prichard, Sandra (George) Benton, Sharon (Randy) Heilemann, and Randy Prichard; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services are 10am Friday, January 16, at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel in Derby.
